Our replication server has broken yet once again. As always I am unable to fix it - I have to a clean upload of the data. Is there something that someone can help me with. The log on /var/log/mysqld.log has the following:
101008 10:02:15 [Note] Slave SQL thread initialized, starting replication in log 'FIRST' at position 0, relay log '/var/run/mysqld/m
ysqld-relay-bin.000002' position: 4
101008 10:02:15 [Note] Slave SQL thread exiting, replication stopped in log 'mysql-bin.000044' at position 680661202
101008 10:02:15 [Note] Slave I/O thread: connected to master 'atdbrepl1@192.168.200.100:3306', replication started in log 'mysql-bi
n.000044' at position 930338242
I removed the relay logs and restarted mysql but nothing happened. Is there some other trick I can do to get this to work. How can I try to prevent this in the future.
